It's Winter Time!
(Keep Reading for a Huge Offering Below!)
With winter comes a time for rest, reflection, and planning. If we follow Mother Nature's guidance this can be a time of quiet settling into one's self and preparation for further growth. To take time to check in with ourselves, evaluate our physical and mental health, to determine how we would like to move forward in ways that in our highest and best good.
However, many of us can find ourselves out of tune with the shifting of the season and out of tune with the messages from our bodies and spiritual selves. We continue to strive to "do it all", to be of service to those around us, to look after our families, friends, businesses, to keep pushing through. The Universe will start whispering to us the messages that will allow us to shift and become more in balance. If we don't heed the whispers the Universe will speak more loudly. If we continue in the same manner at some point it will present a situation that we can no longer ignore whether that be in the form of a life crisis, health crisis, dis-ease, injury, "accident", and more. Then we can no longer miss the messages from the Universe and the beings around us!
Many of us who are equine professionals and enthusiasts can find ourselves in this predicament as we are hard working, dedicated, striving to be of service to our horses and clients, and often juggling business, horses, family! Sound familiar? In speaking with many people of this particular group there is currently a common theme of striving to find the balance between giving and receiving. Self care is important!
Do you know the difference between a conduit and a vessel? The Mirriam-Webster dictionary defines:
- Conduit: a means of transmitting or distributing; a natural or artificial channel through which something (such as a fluid) is conveyed
- Vessel: a container (such as a cask, bottle, kettle, cup, or bowl) for holding something
A conduit is a channel while a vessel is a container. Vessels can run dry and need to be re-filled. Conduits are infinite. Attending to our self care and connecting to a Higher Source allows us to become a conduit rather than a vessel. We are no longer pouring from something that can become empty. Instead we are connected and allowing, creating balance between receiving and giving.
Our horses can help us achieve this.
Often, becoming a conduit and connecting to a Higher Source opens doors for further learning as we shift toward this vibration. In this time of winter, as we reflect on what we want for our lives and the beings around us, horse and human included, opportunities for self growth and development align themselves.

The Equus Empowered program is a virtual, yet experiential training to develop a deeper understanding, connection, and partnership with horses, for yourself, and your clients. The outcomes of this experience are deeply moving and inspirational, which include:
Understand the deeper hidden layer in horse culture and behavior
Expand your awareness of what horses are doing energetically when we're in their presence; specifically the energetic exchanges that take place to support our collective well-being, balancing and grounding
Learn about the horse energy systems (including chakras and meridians) and how we can give back to them to support their well-being
Explore these concepts through theory, research, tools, and practical experience
Deepen the meaning you're able to share with clients about how horses are connecting and responding to them; this increased self-awareness and empowerment deepens the client experience and leads to more return business and referrals

Please share a little about your journey with horses (what drew you to them, how old you were when you got your first horse, etc). How many years in a professional capacity (if any)?
What do you love most about your interactions and relationship with horses? What, if anything, do you feel is missing or could be improved?
How do you define energy? What is your awareness at this time of the scientific theories of energy, chakras, intention, intuition, etc and the associated research for both horses and humans?
We’ve all noticed that we just feel better in the presence of a horse after a stressful day. Can you recall a time that you had a change of state beyond the five senses? For example, you felt calm and grounded after time with your horse but didn’t feel that way before. How aware are you of how the horse is facilitating that?
If your horse could ask you for one thing he or she would appreciate most in terms of connection, understanding, communication, or your partnership what would it be?

Module 1 opens March 6 (can access anytime before March 13)
Zoom meetings run Wednesdays from March 13 - May 8 at 12:00 pm MST
Depending on the number of applicants there may be an additional 50% Scholarship and 25% Scholarship offered.
